Chemise Bruyère, Deer+Doe, Me-Made-May'15 Day 6

Hello, me-makers,
 
The Quirky Peach's Bruyère shirt by Deer+Doe and her lovely photos convinced me to buy the pattern which I already had eye-balled since a longer time. I had not been sure before whether the seam length would suit me. But now I fell in love and copied her blouse.

Die Heide-Bluse von Deer +Doe gefiel mir sofort, ich war aber unsicher, ob mir diese Tunika-Länge steht.

Als ich die Bluse von The Quirky Peach sah, war es um mich geschehen und ich bestellte den Schnitt wie auch den gleichen Stoff, wie sie ihn vernäht hat: Cyclo violet von Anna Ka Bazaar, einen ganz zarten Batist. Er ist zwar eher braun als violett, aber trotzdem schön. Passende Knöpfe, die wie kleine Räder aussehen, fand ich bei einem Bummel in München.

Alle Nähzutaten lagen jetzt länger in einem Körbchen. Erst als es wieder etwas wärmer wurde, hatte ich Lust, die Bluse endlich zu nähen.

Ich beschloss, die Originallänge zu nähen und dann eventuell zu kürzen. Alle Nähte habe ich als Französische oder Links-Rechts-Nähte genäht, weil der Stoff leicht transparent ist, diesmal auch die Ärmeleinsatznaht.

Die Schulternahtzeichen der Ärmel habe ich beim Einsetzen etwas nach vorne verschoben. Diese Änderung muss ich öfters machen. Gesäumt habe ich wie immer mit dem Berninafuß #69.

Regrettably, the peplum is not as large as Sally's, but I love my Bruyère shirt.

Das Schößchen habe ich nicht so weit gemacht wie Sally, das bereue ich ein wenig. Sonst mag ich die Bluse sehr gerne.

Camí Dress, pauline alice Sewing Patterns, Me-Made-May'15 Day 5

Hello, dear sewists,

today it is a warm enough day to wear a dress without tights! Voilà my Camí dress made out of a lovely Liberty tana lawn called Teatime.

The fabric shows a lot of teacups, teapots, teaspoons, sugarcubes and flowers in different shades of blue on white.

The pattern is printed on sturdy paper and there is included a little booklet with the instructions and a lot of diagrams.

Because of the lovely fabric I sewed french seams. Sadly, at the front upper bust there is much too much fabric. Because I had already sewn the sholder seams and the collar, I couldn't fit it very well, I only took a little at the front armscye.

However, I love to wear my dress. It is easy to put because of the invisible zip at the left side and the fabric makes me smile.

Peter-and-the-Wolf Pants and Petrouchka Peplum Top, Me-Made-May'15 Day 4

Hello, dear sewists,

I like most of the Papercut Patterns. They have got interesting details and the fit for me is quite good. They are however quite expensive. The packages are very cute and the patterns are printed at sturdy paper.

Die Schnitte von Papercut Patterns gefallen mir fast alle. Sie sind nicht billig. Sie haben hübsche Details und bisher saß alles relativ gut. Die Verpackung ist wirklich hübsch und die Schnitte sind auf Packpapier gedruckt. Allerdings muss man das Anleitungsheft erst ausschneiden, falten und zusammenkleben. Ich bin gerade etwas erschrocken, denn beim Nachschauen habe ich gesehen, dass ich schon 6 Schnitte von Papercut Patterns habe!

Den Stoff hatte ich auf dem Freiburger Holland-Stoffmarkt für diese Hose gekauft.

Size after my body measurements would be S, but I had to sew XS and the pants are always a little loose.

Ich habe 2013 nach meinen Maßen Größe S genäht, bei den Beinen nach unten zwischen S-M. Allerdings war die Hose viel zu weit, sodass ich einiges an der Seitennaht an Weite weggenommen habe. Dadurch sind natürlich die Taschen kleiner und der Saumausschnitt ist nicht mehr mittig. Außerdem musste ich bei der Passe etwas schummeln, um keine Stufe an der Seite zu bekommen.

Bei den Nahtzugaben muss man aufpassen: 1cm!
Ich habe  den unsichtbaren RV vorne eingenäht, dass alles symmetrisch bleibt.

Eine zweite Hose habe ich in Größe XS, Länge S aus elastischem Leinen genäht, auch sie ist nicht ganz eng, aber ich mag es so. Ich würde mir die Hose wieder nähen, aber einen Ticken länger und vielleicht ohne den Saumausschnitt vorne.
